## Sometimes -es Is [iz], Sometimes [z]

1. The suffix -s is sometimes pronounced ____ and sometimes pronounced ____, but it is always spelled ____. The suffix -es is sometimes pronounced ____ and sometimes pronounced ____, but it is always spelled ____.
