The three-dimensional region of space that indicates where there is a high probability of finding an electron.
organic chemistry
Branch of chemistry that is the study of carbon-containing chemicals.
organic compounds
Covalently bonded compounds containing carbon, excluding carbonates and oxides.
The full or partial loss of electrons or the gain of oxygen.
oxidation number
A positive or negative number that is assigned to an atom to indicate its degree of oxidation or reduction.
oxidation-reduction reaction
