Solid, Liquid, and Gas
We’ve probably all seen examples of a solid, liquid, or gas. Could you find an example of each in the room around you? Examine them carefully, then answer the following questions.
1. What household item can easily be converted between the 3 phases?
2. Which phase has the most energy?
3. In the video above, the kids have made Oobleck, a combination of corn starch and water. This is known as a non-newtonian fluid, do you think this is a solid or liquid? Why?
