Flexi Says: A single chromosome is made up of one extremely long molecule of DNA along with proteins that assist in the folding and packaging of the DNA into the tightly wound chromosome structure. Chromatin consists of the same molecule of DNA and associated proteins as in the chromosome, but in a less tightly wound form.
