Flexi Says: Rust is a reddish-orange build-up of a rough deposit of iron oxides on the metal. It can be removed using chemicals like weak acids (oxalic acid, phosphoric acid, or vinegar), salt, or baking soda.
Alternatively, rust can be just scraped off the surface of a metal using abrasive tools like sandpaper or a metal file. This method, however, takes a lot more effort and time.
