Flexi Says: Sedna was discovered in 2003, beyond the orbit of Pluto, orbiting the Sun. It is probably a dwarf planet, but scientists have not yet confirmed whether it is spherical in shape, so it may be another type of trans-Neptunian object. It is about half the size of Pluto and is very distant from earth (almost 11 billion kilometers away).
