Flexi Says: Spacesuits provide a pressurized atmosphere to astronauts working outside their vehicles. They take advantage of the properties of gases to create an atmosphere with 1/3 the air pressure found at sea level on Earth. Air pressure is related to the volume of gas, the number of gas molecules, and the temperature of the gas. Spacesuits control the temperature, volume, and amount of gases inside, so they also control pressure.
